Linton College

Linton College is in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan. Brother is taking engineering in that college and so, today I had to take half day leave to take a trip down to Mantin to pay off his education fee. It was a 30 minutes drive to Mantin and that place is really a remote place which not much to do or see. The next best place for the people there is Nilai3 which takes about a 5 minute drive from the college.

Anyway Linton College is one of the college which gives out engineering degree and it is under the College Lagenda group. To be honest, I never knew that this college ever exsited and from the first glance of the campus, it like does people actually study in this college? Maybe because nobody uses the main enterance that much and most of the time students and lecturer use the side which is nearer to the shop and cafes.

Each student in this college is look after by one student representative and the parents, guardian or in this case the brother will be hog by one student representatine, one person from the accounts department and one person from the loan department. The reason for this is regarding the payment of the tuition fee. Anyway all of that had been taken care of today so I guess from now on, only the student will be look after by the representative. By the time I got home I was so tired I took a good long nap....hehehehe and now if look at the time stamp of this posting, you know that I can't go back to sleep.

Golf anyone?

Started playing golf for a good 6 months now and I kind of like it. I always thought that golf is a boring game but then again is a very different sport and is very interesting. They way you swing the ion is very important in order to get a nice hit. Been to the golf range for most of the time to get my swing correct and this is one of the best way to release the office stress. I find my swings are ok but then there is a lot of things that I need to learn. There is a lot of room for improvement. The placing of the Ion and the way I stand are very important to get the right kind hit.

I have been in the golf course, I think about 5 times only and that also the par 3 golf course in Bukit Jelutong. My best game was on the 5th time where I got 2 pars which I am happy about and now friends already started to ask to me to play with them in the full course. The golf course like those pro golfers play in. I am actually not ready for that but then again what the hac, just go and have fun. I guess after a few rounds of golf on the full course, I think I would like to take lessons and learn from the pros....anyway all this is just to try something new. I guess that next new thing that I would like to do is, to pick up diving....this is possible if I have $$$$ in hand...

Surprise !!!!!

After 3 days of training in IBM, I got a big surprise in the office....how nice right? Wrong, I got a whole bunch of work load that needs to be completed in this coming days and the whole of next week and all pour in at one time. Right now I feel that my head is so jammed up. I really need to prepare everything by this week so next week will be just implementation and hopefully everything goes smoothly. Well that is yet to be seen I guess.....will let you know in the next blog posting. I don't only have project to complete but also I have a whole lot of software to download and burn it into CD's....damn man... I guess that is work and maybe some other people have much more work load and I here complaining but I guess this is the best place to let out some steam.

26th

Another year older and what have I have achieve? I feel like I have not achieve nothing yet and so, how long does it take to achieve something? Seeing people and friend that are going somewhere that they want to go and getting what they want is sometimes....arrrghhh!!!!. I know, should not compare with them but then....

I made a wish that I really wanted so badly but I think I didn't made it the right way. Do wishes come true?......... Anyway, it was an ok day. I had lunch with friends at TGIF and later at around 7 pm gave my family dinner. All in all is was just another normal day....nothing great to shout about.

BBQ That I Missed

The BBQ that i missed, and why I missed out on this is because I was stuck at customers place. Yeas again, I had to work on the weekend! This was an ad-hoc kind of agreement and it really piss me of. I had to deploy some application server again and I was there working for a good 14 hours. I had to make sure there is network connection and other related software was installed and who installed all this application and make sure the network connection is up? Well I think you can guess who! So, what the hell do I need to do a Scope of Work documentation then?

I dunno what kind of planing does this people do before carrying out any activity for customer. It seems that they do know what need to be done and all they care is getting the money and getting the project and as a result other people's plans and activity had to be push a side. This really sucks! So , what did I missed out during the weekend was a nice BBQ time with friends and the best part is I am one of people who plan it out besides Nazrin. They had a good time and eat a lot as you can see from the pictures. Those guys was calling me asking to ditch the work and go over.....and being the good person I am how can I just leave without completing the work...If customer complain then I will get the heat from my bosses.

Working Late

It's been 2 days in a row I have been working late in the office. I'm really tired and nothing is working right on my part. Is damn frustrating and tomorrow morning I have to be in Sheraton Hotel Subang before 7.30 am to setup the equipment for some function and tomorrow I guess I have to back late again to finish up some other work for other projects. Once project comes it comes in all in one time....damn man! Arrrrrrhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday's Laundry

Wednesday night 28/02/2007, our very own rock star and his band was playing at Laundry Bar, The Curve. A bunch of us decided to go and show him our support. We were there at about 9 something, found a place to sit and ordered our drinks. We manage to find a place near the entrance and where were sitting we could see the stage.

When we order the drink (it was coke by the way), there was a notion that our corp. com was buying the drink but then in the end I had to pay for the drinks and oh ya, when you order coke it is free flow.... and for RM20 i better make get what is worth for my money so I had a few rounds of coke while listening to the bands playing their music.

At about 10 something our rock star took the stage. There was a short intro about the band and some last minutes sound check and they started off. They played only played 2 songs and they awesome. Our photographer, Mr Rossie took some shots during that night. Here are some of the picture.
